The AZTI Summer School in 2023 focused on "Innovative and practical tools for monitoring and assessing multiple human pressures affecting biodiversity in marine systems''. This edition of the school was organised within the framework of several Horizon Europe projects: GES4SEAS, OBAMA-NEXT, BiOcean5D, ACTNOW, and MARBEFES. The primary goal of the school was to introduce practical tools for monitoring the ocean and assessing the cumulative impact of various pressures on marine biodiversity. The focus was on understanding the ocean's status and the ecosystem services it offers. The event took place from June 5 to 7, 2023.
